Akrapovic slip-on race w/ link pipes
Pictures worth thousands of words. Thanks to Eric at Supreme Power and Rodger at Orbit Racing in West Palm. Results are quite spectacular, video cannot do it justice.

Very nice! So is a tune needed or not? I haven’t found a definitive answer yet on this specific set up.

OP - lets hear that thing.
PS, if anyone has just the center bypass lets get a sound clip of that with the side muffler also.

Stock headers and cats (i.e O2 sensors) so no CEL and no ECU tune. There are no valves, obviously. There is no transition in sound as the absence of valves is the equivalent of disconnecting the valve defaulting to always open. Sound is subjective and videos are a poor substitute for human ears. To my ears more pronounced engine sounds since the mufflers are gone. However not earsplitting or objectionable. My wife has no issues. Drone? To my ears there are no distortions or resonances that are objectionable. Others may have a different impression. It does not sound like a Cup car to me because all I hear in a Cup car is the overwhelming whine of the sequential gearbox.

Dundon makes power and torque bulk of which is from headers in addition to sound and weight loss. So not a fair compare to this thread but if it's sound maybe this Akra combo is the way to go. Also looses weight and some small hp and torque gains.
I think I've ruled out IPE due to some negative reviews on quality and not really looking for high pitched sound.
