Let's hope I'm wrong.

Three Wheelin'
Nightmare. I've been told there's not much chance of one having waited 5 years. It's possible they wouldn't replace one for you at the expense of disappointing someone else I suppose. Did your insurance cover replacement value so you can get a nearly new one?

When I asked they said that they are not building the GT2RS anymore - I assumed it was for the EU since I knew that there where cars being delivered to other markets later this year.

I think it's pretty common knowledge that there will be no more GT2 RSs for the EU after the Sept 1 WLTP deadline..I was led to believe that there might be a second batch of EU GT3 RSs for the EU some time next Spring..Did Porsche Sweden categorically say that there won't be a second batch of GT3 RSs or have you made an assumption based on no further GT2 RSs..Its easily done as i have taken news out of context on numerous occasions,

They did not say that there won't be a second batch.

Folks, if you know as a fact your dealership in the U.S. has been allocated fewer .2 3RS (so far, more could be coming) than .1 3RS, please let us know (you don't need to name the name if you don't want to). This is not a trade secret your dealer can't talk about. Otherwise, I don't care too much about speculation based on "they can't build anymore because too busy to make 1948 of speedsters".

Total Worldwide 991 911 production = ~250,000
Total N.A. 991 GT3 production will be 4,500
N.A. GT3RS (2016+2019) = 2,500
N.A. GT2RS = 650
N.A. Speedster = 650
N.A. 911-R = 323
Less then 10% of all 991’s will be GT series and over half of those are the base GT3. By model this is one of the rarest high performance cars you can currently buy.
*for comparison Ferrari made around 16k 360’s, 18k F430’s and 20k 458’s.

I really LOL when "rare" and modern GT cars show up in the same sentence...
