What a great, covert, way for a non-paying member to flip a GT3. So how many PM offers have you received aready? Be honest.

I'd take a shot at Porsche Cars USA and Porsche Cars Canada to see if they can divert your car for delivery to a Canadian dealer.

German cars should still be subject to a 6.1% import duty as well.

If your employer is cheap i would be seriously considering whether i wanted to make a move like that or not.

There is 0% chance of your car being diverted to Canada. Actually, less than 0.

Actually In know a guy with a 996 GT3, Canadian guy, who through a stroke of good luck, got a US allocation changed to Canadian but this was when PCNA existed.

How would they divert a US spec car to be delivered in Canada? I mean differences are small but there are differences. I don't see that happening.

To import a car into Canada do you not need a bill of sale from the US origin? Is title and bill of sale different things? Can you buy a car in the US without title? Here you need registration when you buy a car if you want to drive it.

Are you staying in Canada for all time? If not why don't you just register/title or whatever in the states and bring it here with US plates?

Also if you do import it legally your taxes and duty will all be on the CAD value of your USD cost.

You may need to sign an agreement not to export the car in order to take delivery. I just had to sign 2 of those from 2 different dealers. Both this week.

Man you are making me not wanna go back to Canada. I did my college and worked in US for 10+ years. It will take some time for me to get used to politically correctness BS up there.

browse the Canadian forum and see how boring and bland the conversations are . Nothing exciting, nothing controversial. No opinions except what everyone else thinks
What? You don't like the 84 month financing one ?

Typical Canadian arrogance
The assumptions in that thread are over the top. Seems like people trying to justify why they have what they have and how they got it.
