I'd like to introduce to the Rennlist members the latest JCR Porsche release, the Titanium Bolt-On Exhaust Tips suitable for all 991 GT based models.
Design & Manufacturing
The JCR Titanium Bolt-On Tips were first created using CAD modelling to ensure the profile matched perfectly the OEM flange mounting points.
We then went on to design our tips and 3D print physical parts to fit to the car to ensure that our designs worked well from an aesthetic stand point. This allows us to quickly make adjustments, make any changes necessary before building a jig to the CAD model.
As you may notice other designs are in the process of completion as we speak and we look forward to adding further products to this line

Material Choice
Firstly and most notably the material choice, we feel that Titanium (KS TI-1.2 ASNEX) is the perfect material for the job. Lightweight, stunning looks and of course the unmistakeable heat signature is present once the parts have got hot. With the latest 991.2 GT3 RS adopting titanium tips from the factory this made the choice even more obvious.
Visual Impact
Improving the rear end look the JCR Exhaust Tips increase the tip diameter to 105mm to nicely fill the factory exhaust cut out.
Burnt Finish
Finished in either Raw or Burned finish our Titanium Exhaust Tips can be customised to your liking.
Improved Sound
The JCR Exhaust Tips not only look great but also remove the factory exhaust tips in build sound supression. This free flowing conical design and larger diameter outlet not only improves visual impact but will also unleash the full sound potential of the exhaust system installed.
Easy Installation
Our Titanium Bolt-On Tips retain the factory exhaust tip bolt pattern and are therefore compatible with OEM centre silencer all aftermarket bypasses which run the factory mounting flange. Including of course our own Titanium Centre Bypass. Expect install to take around 15 minutes.

why fluted? IMO would look better if the diameter was the same front to back....
not cheap either - is it the weight savings you're promoting, or simply aesthetics?
The conical design is a feature. An exhaust system terminating in a 'megaphone' design has been proven to increase power on high power N/A applications, especially exhaust systems will short overall system length. Now this is not to say that these tips would 'add' power, any difference would be almost impossible to measure however the conical design certainly adds to the tone and volume plus it certainly doesn't hurt or restrict gas flow.
Weight saving is significant in terms of % vs OEM tips and the Aesthetics as with any car modification are subjective however we think they look great!
I guess in answer to your original message its a combination of all the points listed which we see as a benefit over OEM.

The website as well as above listed specs indicates 100mm but the other JCR's post says 105mm

Nearer to 102mm but depending slightly on the version and how you measure. We have 3 versions of the tips for the various bumper profiles and due to the slash cut cone and varying angles of the slash the measurement varies slightly.
