I received a GT 2 RS allocation that locks very soon . I am on the fence between guards red and gt silver. I am thinking black wheels with either color. What do you guys think?

Totally subjective, but I get tired of bright colors quickly. Although Red is a great color for that car, GT Silver was the launch color and goes well with the CF parts. It's my favorite Silver on any 911.

Had a red car.....was very very cool, for a short period of time.....Silver is timeless.....but, color is 100% subjective

For me personally, red is a no-brainer. I find silver very boring on such a special car. And I like the contrast of red with CF.

I've seen both in the flesh, red is stunning in this car with the black carbon fiber and red interior option. Silver looks nice, but its more of a sleeper color.

I have a Guards GT4 weekend car and a Grey GT3 on order for a daily. I'd agree that the bright colors would be overkill and the novelty would wear out fast for a daily, but everyone has different tolerances and expectations. You know you best.

I had a red one with black wheels.
I liked the looks.

I was lucky in one way: I got the regular non-WP rims with the car.

I requested change of my order so I would get the WP-rims in White gold.
By doing that I would have had the best of both worlds: two set of wheels, both looking great on the car.

Both GT Silver and the gold wheels will retain their value better

GT Silver, my '16 RS was that. If I get a GT2 allocation mine will be GT Silver.
