Don't drive it home.
Waste of time and miles.

Drifting
Best driving roads in the world just north from atlanta. Hit blood mountain, hwy 60 to Morganton, tail of the dragon, cherohala Highway, then get on blue ridge parkway. Think of it like an American "European delivery" trip. Why is this even a consideration? Buy a 1-way and go drive your car!

Drive it home! Look at this situation as the "transport god's" way of instructing you to save the transport costs and to put the money toward a memorable "United States Delivery" through a beautiful part of the country. Sounds like a perfect way to break your new beautiful car in!

Three Wheelin'
I'm with everyone else. Drive it! Take it north from Atlanta into the mountains and have a blast. By the time you get home it will be broken in if that's your thing.

Don’t drive it. Keep it a garage queen/museum piece. I mean, you didn’t buy it to actually drive it did you? Just kidding....drive it or sell it!

Track Day
If it’s wrapped already, go for it. Life is short and it’s a great way to get to know your new toy. I buy many cars out of state and drive most of them nearly 1k miles back home. It makes for great memories and stories, which is what these cars are about. Go enjoy it and stop worrying about miles before you’ve put the first one on it!

I flew to NC to buy my 991 and drive it back to TX. .2 years later, I still have fond memories of my trip, done with my best friend from College / best man. I don't even regret the highway miles. They were a great way to catch up, and see a part of the country I'd not seen before. We blasted tunes, grinned like schoolboys, and I got to learn my new car in 48 hours. My only regret? Not spending more than a few hours in the Smokies. Had I to do it again, I would have allotted at least a half day there of thrashing, if not a whole day. It was great.
It's on your route home. Totally do this.
WTF is the point of buying a GT3 if not to do EXACTLY this?? Sell me your car.
