Default Brake Question

Sold my 15 GT3 this week and bought a clean 16 GT3RS today. The 15 has PCCB as does the 16 GT3RS. The brakes on the 16 have no initial bite? Nothing like the 15. Nothing like my Z06 with Ceramic Brakes. The 2 year fuild service just happened last week.

Are the pads toast?

They might have bled the brakes incorrectly. The pccb in a 2016 should be really bitey. But check and see how much discoloration there is on the pads. They could be slightly glazed if never run in properly.

The pads are whiteish around the edges. The pedal is firm.... the pads just don’t bite. Thanks for the recommendations CJ.

I just picked up a RS with PCCB, what do you mean by initial bite? I was driving really slow the other day, trying to get out of my driveway and every time I braked it sounded like someone honked at me ..was really loud

it was a rainy day but I am not sure why it was so loud every time I braked - it has not happened since

the dealer I purchased from CPOed the vehicle and told me that they bled the brakes.....and did a brake fluid flush

No noise like my other cars and no initial bite like my other cars with CC Brakes. It stops like my Raptor.... and that’s sad! I’ll get it addressed this week. Otherwise throughly enjoying the car. A lot different from my 991.1 GT3, but that’s another post.
