You can have the vent slats painted in any standard color. So you could have them painted black if you want them to blend in. It's not a CXX option. The dealer is able to select the slat color in their more detailed configurator. It's similar to the painted vent surrounds which actually lets you pick the color online. I had lava slats on my silver 991.1 RS.

Than, e-mailed it to the dealer!

So I exchanged a few emails with Daniel Margrave at Porsche Exclusive on the painted vent option (CDN). He confirmed with PAG that keeping slats as black plastic itself or having it painted black instead of of the exterior color doesn't require CXX approval or additional cost. You can just add the text description of what you want to the comment section for the CDN option. This is the example he used with PAG to confirm the phrasing - “Leather in black, stitching in GT silver, slats not painted but in plastic.”, so he recommended following the same template.

He did add this caution - "PAG is telling us the comments will give us what we want (and they should normally be the final word) but this is not something we have really tried with enough frequency yet.", so caveat lector.

Didnt write anything about painted key, just clicked the option??

Emailed Yana about the leather slats in stead of green vents with leather vents.

Has to be done on dealer configurator, not consumer one on website.

I love the green interior and is free as I would go with leather anyway.
Chalk is too white in the sun.
No dark color available but black, both go well with green and black lends itself to a dark color wrap like Viola?
Love bright colored wheels but with green the white/gold doesn't work. Aurum too dark.

My code, car locking on Nov 5th.:

Just sharing some options I played with trying to find a nicer combo then all the brochure green ones, but as-is it just looks great.
Nothing really grabs me this side of PTS.

How did you do those renders? Is there a specific program you used? I am trying to put together a spec like that...

We did the renderings using Photoshop. Feel free to shoot us a message with any specific requests and we'd love to help you come up with a spec!

^^^ These guys are a joy to work with, if you have any ideas or looking to see if they come up with new ones, it’s certainly worth it to have a look before you orde/wrap/paint!!
