You are probably on the Euphrates Highway. Check with your dealer they will know.

well they'll probably sit over the weekend waiting to clear customs, then head into the VPDI ctr ... my guess is that they will arrive at dealers last week of Oct

I emailed my contact at the Sindelfigen dropoff location and he put me in contact with the shipping agent, *but* PCNA ED also sent me an email a couple of days after she embarked to inform me and Brett my SA that she was afloat

You bet! But mine's just a little 718 Cayman GTS. Sounds like it's traveling in style with all of the "Big Boys!"
An update on the ship: the Bangkok was scheduled to be into Halifax by 8AM today, local time. When it didn't show up on the tracking map this morning, I go on the phone. I ended up talking to a nice gentleman at the Port Authority of Halifax and he told me that the updated ETA is 5AM this coming Sunday (21st). He also told me that, although it is a Hoegh ship, it has been leased to a company called Colley Motorship of Montreal for this shipment (throws extra variables into the equation). For those of us without a subscription to one of the shipping websites, it will not be until after the Bangkok departs Halifax that we can see the ETA for Davisville (that is, if Davisville is the next stop after Halifax).

My car is in that boat and there is a web link that does show Oct 21 5am for arrival. Just google the ship name and you will find it. You will not see it at sea unless you pay extra but it will show last tracking point which was south of UK.

Mine is on genius highway too. Haven’t seen my car in over 2 months. Probably didn’t help that it sat in Germany for 32 days before they put it on a boat. Will be great to finally see it again.

Are all of the rest of you forced to pay for car insurance since before you got the car back in the US, or is that just for me? That combined with the long delays (= even more insurance bills for a car I don’t have) and lack of communication or arrival estimates have not contributed to a great experience.

Sadly yes my dealer registered the car when I paid for it and Ca dmv threatened to deregister although to register again was only $14...

Well ... thanks for asking, because I was about to tell you that I didn't believe that Benicia had a VPDI processing center and thus the car was dropped in San Diego, *but* I googled this and discovered that: https://www.timesheraldonline.com/20...rt-of-benicia/

behold - they do now - in previous ED's with both Porsche and BMW its taken approx 10 days from the car being dropped at the port to arriving at the dealership, 2-3 days to clear customs, 3-4 to pass thru VPDI, then 1-3 days on the truck.

Since Marin Porsche is less than 50 miles from the port, I would expect it to transport in less than a day, so my best guess is that it will arrive around 10/30-11/1
