Some mentioned that Manthey Racing is working on one with greater capacity (or maybe available now).

Yes Manthey has a tank, but they will not ship to the US. We will have to have it shipped to a 3rd party distributor in Germany then they will ship it in. I'm talking with Autoquest now on the logistics, Ill keep this thread updated. Just a FYI cost is 950 Euro, plus shipping, so I would say we will be in the $1300 range when its all said and done. But its a must if you plan on tracking the car.

The Manthey solution is a piggyback reservoir made of metal that connects to the the standard carbon water tank. It is installed above the normal tank.
If you can source a connector to the carbon tank it is fairly easy building your own tank.

As mentioned above, Manthey does offer a nice piggy back solution.
We had one installed (along with some sticky Michelins) on our GT2RS during European delivery. We took the car to Spa Francorchamps with the new tank and ran all day (3 full tanks of fuel) and still had 1/3 of the large tank full of water, while other GT2RS owners were filling up with each fuel tank fill. A larger tank is definitely a must for those who drive their GT2RS.
We have a location outside of the U.S that Manthey will ship to that we can then import to U.S. from - those interested in a unit, send us a P.M. or email info@311RS.com and we'll get a pallet of these headed to U.S.

Sounds good.
Funny story from Spa - the four the local GT2RS guys had their stash of distilled water for the weekend and WERE NOT willing to share. They claimed distilled water is difficult to get near the track. Needless to say, when they saw we had the Manthey tank we had the last laugh.

Who else wants in? We've got word from Manthey that we can work out a program for us U.S. GT2RS owners. 5 owners already on board, the more we can get on a pallet the cheaper shipping will be for everyone. Spread the word to those not on the forums.
Send us a PM or an email info@311RS.com.

How much weight does the new tank add? Both empty and full would be interesting to see what the differences were and if any appreciable effect. Obviously Manthey is most concerned with the Ring and running there this would be an absolute must, amazing to see how fast these solutions are made
