Default For the road: GT3 or 3RS?

Both cars are tremendous. Putting the 6MT aside and just PDK v PDK, do you guys think the GT3 is a superior road car?

I am smitten with how my RS drives but kind of miss the (slightly) more subtle looks of my winged GT3 and don't love the attention the RS gets when I get back into town from a spirited drive haha.

I don't track often and wonder if I made a mistake leaving the GT3 for the RS. May be buyer's remorse.

the RS is awesome. I find it odd however that so many people are buying this for a street car. I hate mine on the street; its uncomfortable, loud and frustrating to drive as it only shines when you are driving at speeds that are highly illegal. The GT market is being fueled by people who want these cars for status symbols, not the track beasts they were created for. So in my opinion if you are not interested in tracking these beasts, they are really a waste. however, others will say how great they are to drive every day I am sure. I just know that personally after tracking my last few RSs, they are zero fun to drive around town or even on back roads. A good manual 911 is better suited for that. But hey, the new RS is awesome and you are lucky to have one! Enjoy. you will be upset if you get rid of it!

think you can argue the same with a GT3 not great for the street, but I always say let people enjoy what they want and how. Cars are all subjective for need, and purpose.

I had the opportunity to drive the new GT3, both manual and PDK, the new RS and the new GT2 RS at least weeks Smokies event. First the new GT2 RS is amazing but out of my league. My pick for an obtainable car would be the RS. I wouldn't care if were going to the grocery or my favorite back road the RS woul put a huge grin on my face.

The 997 generations of RS were not great street cars.
The 991 generations are perfect - much more refined and less 'raw'. The 991.1 may be the best.

Stick with the RS, it’s more than liveable on the street, equal to the GT3 on back road jaunts and surpasses the GT3 on the track! Best of all worlds...

The new .2RS is crazy loud in the cabin, it has much less sound deadening and is a much wider car. I love it and went with black to make it more subtle. I think the GTS or 911T is a better choice for all out road car but I really enjoyed my Touring on the road the engine really is one of the best I've ever owned. I love my RS and drove it 1600 miles in europe race track to racetrack without issue a great compromise for the awesome track performance. That being said as a pure street car I would have gone with the GTS and been much more comfortable and had just as much fun on the street.

All out road car with great handling and massive power...and occasional track use wouldn’t a Turbo S be an excellent choice?

I’ve had a 991.1 and 991.2. Terrific car but as cliché as it sounds, I could not get excited about it even with an exhaust.

The soul of the GT3 and 3RS is incredible with that motor, on road or track. So engaging. The GT cars are just in their own leagues.

I love my RS as a DD. I find it very comfortable and supportive... And I have sport buckets.

I do realize I'm in the minority here.

My wife also finds it so comfortable that she can actually nap on long drives.

The RS looks more aggressive and special ; the GT3 imho looks too .... how would I say it .... not aggressive enough

if if they made the RS looks on a GT3 ; that would be the car to pick for me.
My other car Is a 2009 Viper ACR though - and I find it fine !

i would buy the RS ; looks much better ; has the WP option and is slightly faster .
