I’ll have to admit that coming out of a 12 TTS I had to become accustomed to my 16 RS’s ride. While I’ll never track the RS, I prefer the overall driving experience more in the RS. For me, I’m not looking for comfort as much as I am the feedback the RS provides. Not sure about the GT3...
In the end, buy and drive what you love, change it up now and then...life is way to short.

Totally disagree....my RS with sofas, headers and exhaust is loud and not at all frustrating to drive both at legal and illegal speeds.....I don't buy cars for a status symbol, I buy to enjoy for myself and kids (wife doesn't like either).....If GT cars were only sold to track rats they would sell very few......to each their own

I disagree with anyone saying if you don't track your RS then shouldn't have it. To each his own. What you do with your car and how you use it is up to you. I enjoy driving the RS on the street although I agree it must be awesome on the track. Loved my .1 RS and looking forward to my .2 WP. You live only once so do what makes you happy!

Could you post some pictures of your RS with sofas? I have never seen them in an RS. Everyone has been telling me to go with buckets. I’ve been going crazy trying to decide whether to get sofas vs. buckets in my RS (I have lower back problems). What’s your experience like?

I'll try to snap a pic and send it your way. Honestly there's a ton of "an RS should have buckets" comments all over RL....But....I'm using the car more on a daily basis than the track and for me it was a no brainer to go with sofas. Not even a question. No lower back problems but the fixed back and high sidewalls of the buckets made it a no go.

My two cents - I liked the RS on the road better than the GT3. If I was going to DD I’d want the new PCM and rear camera.

I own both GT3 .2 and GT3 RS .2. No doubt about it, GT3 is the better DD.

I'd actually believe you... due to having both.
Thats what I'd expect too.

I had a .1 GT3 2015 and then recently received my .2 GT3RS .
For the road , would be the .2 GT3RS anytime , main differences are :
1- The cars suspension is more comfortable than the GT3 and doesn't vibrate my spine on every road hump or bad road and is a major improvement over my GT3 . Don't get me wrong ; it is stiff , but stiff comfortable , even with the bucket seats (I was very wary buying this car when i heard about the suspension ratings change between this and the GT3RS.1 )
2- On idle and in traffic the GT3RS.2 is quiter , easier to drive and does not have the bolts and screws rattling in the background because of the flywheel like in the .1.
3- The visual rear view is not obstructed like the GT3 wing .
4- Yes , the car is louder , but thats fine for me i love it this way
5- Visual appearance on the road : WOW , this thing really looks like a true car predator on the move ! even though i don't like the attention it gives . In this the GT3 wins , as it was a very subtle car and would be better if you dont want attention .

If the choice would be for a weekend car i would go for the RS , if it is a daily , i would go with none and get a Turbo or a GTS
