New 2019 GT3 RS - wrap whole thing? Track wrap or leave alone
rennlisters need advice...
New 2019. GT Silver Gt3RS, Love it ! At 313 mike slow easy break in...
hasnt had 1st wash yet but hell can hear the small rocks kicked out against the rocker panels....
what to do?
whole car wralp?
Track wrap?
leave alone?
i am not going to track it but going to be mostly daily driving it on nice days (sorry if anyone offended)... love the engine response and suspension is not that bad even on northeast bumpy roads...
Likely will keep it for a while though if next RS n/a then maybtrade in
please share thoughts...

Thanks then why wrap whole thing ?
i have to say my 991.2s was pristine after 1 year of DD but RS seems like it has a different aero profile...

Not trying to hijack but what if the car had WP? I tend to think wrapping roof and wing may be wise, given the exposed carbon may be harder to remove blemishes from as no repainting option?

Wrap is better protection than a clear bra. Also, if you do don’t clear bra the entire car the sun can fade the non wrapped parts differently than the wrapped ones. Only downside to wrap over a clear bris, that you do not see the original color.

I wrap every paint surface... easy to clean, less worries on dings and nicks on the full car. SunTek, XPel or 3M are all fine choices. Find a good installer... that's what makes the difference.

The full wrap is so important to me, I'm shipping cross country. I live in Southern NV and shipping to Detailing Dynamics in Mineola NY. I don't trust the clowns around here to do the proper job. Do your research and you will understand the great lengths I'm going through.

Leave it alone, and that is exactly what I do with all my cars. PPF (Clear Bra) will fade over time, and PPF does incur damage. To me, an unwrapped car with beautiful, original paint looks much better than anything with plastic film on top of the original paint.

After spending 250K why not wrap the whole car. You never know when a bird is going to drop one on your roof or pick up a stone that hits your hood or a shopping cart swipes your car. If the wrap is done professionally no one will know but you.

No paint correction, wrapped cars had visible imperfections in the paint
Pre cut kits, and PPF was not wrapped behind mirrors, door handles or headlights. Proper PPF should have wrap behind certain parts to avoid seams
Bubbles, yes I observed bubbles under the PPF
BTW
Gaudin Porsche doesn't use Pro-tect anymore
