New 2019 GT3 RS - wrap whole thing? Track wrap or leave alone

Saw Pro-Tect work inside Gaudin Porsche on several cars. My obsession were:
No paint correction, wrapped cars had visible imperfections in the paint
Pre cut kits, and PPF was not wrapped behind mirrors, door handles or headlights. Proper PPF should have wrap behind certain parts to avoid seams
Bubbles, yes I observed bubbles under the PPF
BTW
Gaudin Porsche doesn't use Pro-tect anymore

Thank you all that was helpful..
i have an excellent installer (unique car care in MA) who’s already done superb work on 2 cars... not the $ as much as not being able to feel original paint and imperfections that may develop over time... bird poop and scratches in pkg lot on point though...

I personally decided to get the best of both worlds.
My car came with some clear PPF on the bumper, good, and fenders. I'm currently getting a "half wrap" where the rear half of the car is being wrapped in vinyl to make the car look insanely aggressive/not subtle.

Unless you live on a gravel road I think it's a waste of money. And I am OCD. My black cars always look new. I am careful how I wash them but that's it. Put the money towards a vacation or next car. I have purchased several Ferrari's and Porsche's that have been wrapped. You can always tell and there is always an imperfection.

A PPF film always offers more protection than a vinyl wrap, the latter being primarily for aesthetics.

When you say "wrap" is better protection than a clear bra, you're not talking about those vinyl wraps with graphics/colors, right? Because those definitely provide significantly less protection than clear film (which is much thicker).

I vote for full PPF, having mine done soon.

there seems to be two very different schools of thought here. I'm in the school advocating for a full wrap and ceramic coating on top. you really can't tell if done right, and the piece of mind driving on the road is worth a lot to me. I'd hate to always be trying to keep a safe distance from the cars in front of me - sometimes that's just not an option, and I don't want to have that fear of rock chips tainting my emotional enjoyment of the car when I'm out on the road.
also, even while not driving, the piece of mind is with a lot to me. I have very young kids who might put their hands on my car when it's parked, and I worry about people walking by it wherever it goes. with a wrap, those worries are gone.

A $250k car deserves PPF full wrap imho to protect the original factory paint job unless you just don’t care and chips won’t bother you.
A paint chip in my new $250k car would bug the chit out of me

Agree on full PPF ... means you don't have to sweat the small rocks etc and other minor incidents esp as car is DD .. helps keen it in good condition for yourself and resale too.
