Question 20" Wheels from 997 GT3RS - fitment on a 991.1 GT3RS

I dont know the offsets but I know they are 20x10 and 20x12" wide. I understand that 997 GT3RS was a narrow body car so offsets might be off. Do you guys have any idea if it will fit a 991.1 GT3RS? is it possible to use spacers?

If the offsets are the same as the stock 19x9ET47 and 19x12ET48 997 GT3 RS wheels, these custom 20" wheels will fit in the 991.1 GT3 RS. Why would you run a narrower rear and wider front wheel is beyond my basic understanding.

997GT3RS is a wide body, the 991GT3RS is an extra-wide body, different track, different body panels, one doesn't relate to the other.

Spacers and Center locks are prohibited !!!

Stock 991.1 GT3 RS
20x9.5 ET50
21x12.5 ET48

I am sorry I misspoke - i think the fronts are 9.5" and rears are 12" wide
I dont know the offset and Vorsteiner did not include that information on the wheel itself
in that case will they fit? is there a way to see without mounting tires on them if they will fit?
I will only order tires if the wheels fit....I have the satin black painted wheels and I want something in brushed finish

Based on how you measured the wheels the front is a 9" and the rear a 12", so they are 0.5" narrower than the stock 991 GT3 RS wheels at each corner.

The front wheels are 52mm offset (based on a 179mm measurement from the center). Normally a 9" wheel is actually 10" wide, but it is 9" wide between the edges where the tire sits, and 10" from edge to edge. This wheel will work in your RS. It will sit 8mm more towards the inside than your stock 991 RS front wheels.

Bad news, rear ones won't work. They are a 65mm offset, they came from a 997 GT3 (the narrow body car) not from a 997 GT3 RS (the wide body car). If you install those rear wheels on any tire size, the RWS will make contact with inside body and suspension parts. The rear of the 991 Turbo, Turbo S, GT3, GT3 RS and any of the 991s with RWS is not friendly with wheels sticking inside more than normal (there is also a TSB from Porsche for my RS because even the stock wheels/tires rub the inside on the rear axle).

....and unless you were buying Hoosiers, any tire choice in 20" won't match the performance of the RS available tires (20"/21").

The rear wheels won't work in the regular 991.1 GT3 either, or a 991.x Turbo/Turbo S, pretty much they can only be used by 991 GTS Center Lock (without RWS) and 997.2 GT3.
