Nice looking product but I suggest you consider offering a valued option.

Well...if you made the center muffler bypass out of air I think you'd save about 18lbs versus the near 45lbs the side muffler bypass pipes save

I’ve always preferred side deletes without valves. I like it louder all the time and there’s a good bit of weight savings and less heat by the rear tires like others have said. . I have the bbi side deletes on my 991RS and it sounds great. There is some drone on the highway but it doesn’t bother me.

When is the expected launch date?

My RS has a set of Akrapovic Titanium headers with ultra-light cats (100 cell), then L-pipes (titanium as well) on the lower entry to the stock Ti center muffler. I have spacers to the O2 sensors, and no CEL and no emission codes are thrown, car has the stock tune (stock ECU).

I have run many different exhausts in this car including:

1) Sharkwerks center bypass (SOLD)
2) FabSpeed Long Tube non-catted headers (SOLD) - amazing sound and power but could not handle the smell of fuel
3) FabSpeed Side bypass pipes (SOLD) - fantastic but I wanted more power
4) FVD L-pipes side muffler delete (have them)
5) Akrapovic Ti header and Ti cats, Akrapovic L-pipes side delete, and stock Ti muffler (current)

I also have a set of turn downs from FabSpeed that I can swap in 5 minutes with (3) 13mm nuts, when the car gets a warning on 100dB or 99dB tracks.

I don't like the valved side bypass pipes, regardless of the exhaust button position, the valves tend to open and close in the mid-range and make the car power delivery non-linear, I dislike them.

However, your design below has something I'm interested into. By sending exhaust gases to the center muffler through the 4 inlet holes, there is sound attenuation done by the muffled upper inlets, which is also the way the stock car operates when the valves are fully open.

My current system is the lightest possible combination that still runs at 100dB (50ft measured at 6k-8.5k rpm and WOT), but your design should drop 0.5-1 dB, compared to the side deletes that use a single L-pipe to the lower inlet.

That's the first double side delete I've seen without valves. Can you comment on material, sound/drone? I despise drone and I know you need valves to eliminate it or is it just a double piped system that eliminates drone (and not the valves) since valves can't be used on a single piped system.

Material: .065" thick T304L stainless steel, hand made in house at our Willow Grove, PA facility. We could build in 321 stainless as we do our single wall tips but would need to source more materials to do it and the price would increase.

Design: The hole leading into the secondary pipe is enlarged to equalize pressure in the center muffler – reducing chances of it "oil canning and cracking". Flex bellows allow for easy installation and prevent cracking under extreme racing conditions. Large 3″ diameter primary piping increases flow.

Sound: We hate drone too and try to reduce it as much as possible, but there's not much we can do here short of attempting Helmholtz resonators. You will have drone in the 2,000-3000 RPM range as you would with others as there is no provision to fight it given the nature of the design, that's where the valved systems come in to play - and that's something we are working on. We're evaluating using Helical valves (higher price, replacement parts not available) or a more cost effective valve which will allow a lower price and replacement parts if necessary.

We've soft launched as we are waiting on the opportunity to do more media in house to accurately convey sound as well as make an install guide. We've added the flex bellows since our original prototype. We've sent out sets already and just last night received a raving review from our customer.

MSRP: $945

you are really wasting money on center bypass, side deletes are 1k to 1.5k and sound better, perform (weight ) better. I want full long tube headers. The cat is keeping the stock center from blowing out. not the deletes.

Side deletes with valve are louder than center delete?

i was thinking the other way around so was heading the other direction.

Just remove the tubes to the valves, plug them and you’ve got your “genius” option.

Do racing headers delete the warranty with Porsche? I know there is some legal grey area here but was thinking of the full Akrapovic system with race headers and center bypass. As a side note the RS is incredibly loud in the cabin on track with any exhaust changes it's going to be crazy loud with ear plugs an absolute must

Jeff that all comes down to your dealer, I'll give you a ring to discuss it. Also their race and street system is near identical when the street is in the valves open position and I'll explain that further.
