Sounds good, which center muffler delete are you running?

Isn't that basically what happens with open valves in the std system (i.e. all gases go through the center)? I ran with the vacuum lines disconnected for about 3000km but eventually wore tired of the 2000-3500 rpm drone and put them back. Yes, I am losing linearity and "angriness" at lower revs, but the drone is too much for me.
Will deleting the sides help at all in this respect?

I was at Buttonwillow on Sep 8. There was a sapphire blue GT3 that seemed to have a straight pipe with one large exhaust tip coming out. Hands down the best sound I have heard from any GT3. At wot on the straight, it sounded like heaven. Trumped any sound around it, and sounded like the RSR. There was one GT3 with Sharkwerks center bybass, it sounded meh in comparison.

I was at Barber that weekend running the same event. This car stood out to me and sounded fantastic! Love how it sounded and was driven well also.

Heard GMG headers and bypass on a .1 RS at Rennsport this weekend. Car sounded wicked!! I have the GMG center but for my .2 RS may go with their headers paired with their center.

Thanks GT3PDL! I've been very happy with the AWE switchpath. Were you in the lava RS?!?

Ditto. Dump the side anchors. Upgrade the center muffler if/when it goes.

I've got the FVD valved side deletes, love them. No drone, louder than OEM but same tone. This is my plan if the center goes.

This might be the sp grand am exhuast, it deletes all of the mufflers so it must've been pretty loud.

No, the lava RS is my father-in-law. I have a Rhodium .2 GT3 with a manual, but I was in my yellow Z06 this particular weekend.

To avoid the center muffler from failing you have to reinforce the back side of the muffler to eliminate the "oil canning" that causes the failure. Fabspeed sells a stiffener, but you can easily make one yourself.

Default Lighter side mufflers

Are there any options for lighter side mufflers as a number of tracks I go to have decibel limits that a complete removal will get me black flagged?
