Seems like a great idea if you have a grudge against your money

Or you're an early adopter who thinks this is really cool. There are worse ways to use $70k.. first hybrid gt3 is not a bad toy to have in your garage.

Been mulling this since seeing the announcement. At first, I had thoughts very similar to many of those posted here…which led me to think this is off the deep end/isn't going to be interesting. I'm still not entirely over that hump, but a thought occurred as I read comments today: What's sillier, this or ADM?

And the point of this exercise may well be similar to Renovo's plan—targeting OE supply via retail sales (marketing plan).

No thanks. There are better ways to spend $70k too. When PAG puts it in then I’m ready for it.

Good luck diagnosing your car when this thing fails or acts up...

Ok, so you're not an early adopter. This is definitely tech geared towards someone who values the experiencing of trying something before anyone else and dealing with the potential downsides.

We all have different risk profiles and I fall into Waxer's camp on this one, but appreciate those brave souls who will give it a chance. given thats is not fully integrated with the NA engine, how the power comes on and off will be interesting to see, especially if its targeted at track use - the early turbo cars were tough to drive - for those who remember think Ford Cosworth Sierra ...

I bet I could throw a couple Tial Xonas on there and make a lot more than 175hp for 70K.

porsche bought a stake at Rimac (The ones supplying the batteries and engines to every hybrid and electric hyper car and a to even more racing cars) not Vonnen.
If tthe 992 will have something similar the maker will most likely be Rimac rather than Vonnen.
