The New 935

Apologies if this has already been posted, but the newly released 935 looks incredible.

Think a road going version will be announced soon to combat the SVJ?

Looks like a GT2 RS "flat nose" and a Koenigsegg Regera. That is a good thing.

OMG that was under wraps!

jslee225 09-27-2018 05:45 PM

Is it too late to get on the list at my local dealer 😂😂

GrantG 09-27-2018 05:47 PM

Interesting that it comes with Iron brakes (no PCCB option) and the rear rotors are even smaller than those on a Cayman GT4...

We've known for many months about a GT2 RS club racer, but the "935" part was a secret well kept

I know of at least 1 or 2 Rennlisters who will be receiving one :)

Al Pettee 09-27-2018 05:53 PM

I hear Champion might have one. :icon107: :icon501:

Awesome. They need to make a road version as 4.0 run off equivalent.

It's called the GT2 RS :)

At least one Rennlister added Martini livery to his 2RS...

Alan Smithee 09-27-2018 06:05 PM

Colour:

Agate gray water-based paint; optional: Martini livery

All of my cars are gray. Always have been. My wardrobe is gray. I love gray. But for the life of me can't understand why gray would be the standard color for a car like this...

Other than that, I guess it's cool. Would have been much more so if street legal; it's not my first choice for an $800k+ track car.

Front rotors are the same diameter as on the GT3 R and rear the same diameter as on the RSR race cars, which also don't have carbon-ceramic rotors as per regulations. I would expect Porsche Motorsport to make use of brakes that are sufficient for the car.

So awesome, imagine there are going to be a lot of these wearing Dealer or Montana plates!
