Porsche track app, anyone try since the update last month?
The notes say they’ve fixed the connection issues (basically what they are saying). Has anyone tried it to see if it’s reliable now?

For some reason it won’t work at the glen been there 3 time may n June before the upgrade , then I tried it w the upgrade mid August no go , but oddly enough it worked at tremblant in July perfectly. Will be back to the glen in a week will give it another try

Try again... I did not see any updates listed recently. However, I used the app a couple of weeks ago at Mid Ohio and it worked flawlessly. It is annoying that the database of tracks is so limited and you have to go through "recording" a new track to get started. But other than that I like it.

Worked at 4 tracks (Bugatti, Monza, Mugello, Nordschleife) and both b2g and full lap on the ring without a hitch all this month.
No issues except having to restart PCM once early on and not really related but iPhone bumpy as hell at times.

I also get that rhythmical popping sound when I export a video with the Track Precision overlay on my iPhone (it’s the same now on my iPhone X as it was before on a ln iPhone 6), and this wasn’t fixed with the latest upgrade. However if I access the video without the overlay through iTunes, the soundtrack is clean, so what I do is to export the video from the app and just swap the soundtrack with the clean one in iMovie.

It certainly got rid of the 'too many wifi connections' problem that plagued me last time.
Got caught by an interesting feature though... if you get XX:XX instead of 00:00 when you start timing, go to settings and enable lap timing

I recently used at the glen, worked ok for me.
