Jeez, this thread went aggressive fast.

They are making a TON of gt3's (5k+ ww), To the people praying your gt3 is some kind of super limited edition you are going to make money off of, get over yourselves and just go work at Porsche corp. as the cleaning lady for 10 hours u troll this every week and you'll come out on top, i promise.

On a side note, I truly think a lot of people bought gt3's simply because they thought they were getting a "good deal" if they got one for MSRP as they were being super ultra limited edition last of the manual forever and ever and N/A and wings and etc.
There is 90 991.2 Gt3's for sale on autotrader right now! NINETY! NOT A MISPRINT, So 5k ww is conservative if we guess half is the u.s. Probably more will be made. Prices will fall on all the GT cars in next 6 months with gt3 touring being hit the hardest as it is most pumped for sure atm, look at the whole, 8k+ gt cars in 24 months! 5k+ gt3 (18 months @320 per month) 2k+ gt3 rs AND 1k+ gtt2 rs....lot of cars to go around.

20k adm is probably a hoax if he is getting defensive, just say where it is if you don't want it, they do WANT to sell the car after all... I know 50-100k is fairly normal with 35-40 being the bottom as everyone else has said as well as my experience and I emailed and called 50+ dealers

Correct for the vast majority of of dealers. My dealer won’t even sell out of State and sold their last allocation for more via a trade scalping. I was fortunate and got mine at msrp due to long prior relationship. They told me when I picked my RS up that ADMs on them have been going up to the $75k range.

Further, ironically they are harder to find than 2RSs which are easy to find if you want to pony up the adm. I found 10+ 2RSs for sale last I looked.

Do you think they will even do the Q2? (March+ production) if they do, do they do another gt3 pull as well? or just rs...

I am kind of guessing they don't do any gtt3/3rs/2rs...Does anyone have a March+ build for any gt yet? I think they will end it for all the gt3/3rs/2rs, maybe do the speedster then and move onto the 992.

i think production will be through 2nd Q 2019 for 3RS. Not sure about GT3 but no reason not to go through 2nd Q unless too many sitting available now.

It easier to find a GT2RS than a 3RS because they cost more. It's a different buyer at $350K MSRP than $200K 3RS. Than add $100K+adm.

Dont worry, they are making many more GT3RS. You dealer is full of **** if they said they are getting $75K ADM. Only Princeton P and Catena spew that garbage.

I think for any body looking for a rs will find a car.
as of adm I am not sure.....but a lot of these dealers won't sell over state lines as waxer has stated
and that's what I was getting when I was looking for a gt3.
what is funny is iam in PA and some Dealers that where a couple hours away wouldn't even sell
to me.....and they were in PA

Sure. Of course. Easier to find because they cost more. Makes perfect sense. Lol. Seriously?

Yes, “different buyer”. Yes of course. Much more “different” I’m sure. How so different? Please explain to us. Lol.

“Many more 3RS ? How many more of the “people’s RS” will be made as opposed to the RS for the “different buyer” ? You seem to know. Please enlighten us.

I’m not worried one bit about “many” more 3RSs being made. I paid msrp not $100k plus over like a lot of the “different” buyers for a 2RS.

By 2019 there will be plenty more 2RS for sale. Last week the 11 2RSs I counted for sale are still there. Oh, this week they are joined by another 9. You do know there will be more available on the market by end of year right? Flemington didn’t tell you?

I turned down a buildable 2RS allocation for $96k over. . Not doing the adm game again. Plus I like NA better and while we can still get them.

You know about supply and demand right?

I agree with you! I pulled the plug on Monday with Porsche of Irvine, Had a Dec Build 3Rs on order with a 10k deposit @ 45k ADM, Watching the ADM's drop 10-15k withing a two week period just made me sick and I can only imagine what the value of the car would be at in Jan 19' when the car was slated for delivery. I'm not going to let myself get caught up in the Hype , will wait for a plateau of value! I have a 16' 3Rs that is perfect , hopefully patience will prevail me a GT2 in the future

Also the .2GT3RS finished higher in the order of Car Magazines favorite Porsche’s than the 2RS for whatever that means..and it cost less and is Motorsport NA! Triple bonus.

I think that 911R delivered mid year was a project car that had the entire interior taken out and had radio delete and a custom full leather dash including where the plastic space (replaced with leather) would be for the pcm among other things. Apparently was one of the longer projects. Could be wrong.

FWIW I saw one black and one white (mine) 3RS at the ED in the last two days. The production line had several GT3s and one GT2 (granted I only saw what I saw in the tour) and no 3RS. No 3RS lined up for delivery today either but a wp 2RS with mag wheels was in the queue for today and a yellow GT3.

Exclusive had a touring GT3 and two 2RSs. No 3RS (and I believe they would have them in even for configtuator selected options).

Again all FWIW.

From what I've heard GT production will go through Q1 but I'm doubtful of Q2 given the 992 ramp (and what about the 991 Speedster and GT Cab?). I'm sure there is precedent here that i'm unfamiliar with (997 RS and 4.0 to 991 changeover) but I see no reason why the status quo would not prevail. Porsche has their hands full with the Taycan and 992 launch, add in new emission regs and we've seen the result, many issues on the production line from mismatched or unavailable parts to production delays. They are definitely dropping below what I think many of us would consider Porsche's standard of quality.

Absolutely. Beverly Hills originally wanted $75K a few months ago. Now it's $35K. In another few months, we'll see what happens. Seemed like they were wavering a bit when I pressed them.
