A legit contact. He's getting 2017 and will be updating going forward.

What stinks is they have build I assume .....close to 2000 gt3. cars.
and still not finished.
and I couldn't find a car at MSRP.
i found for ADM.
just amazes me as first time Porsche buyer that these cars are such high demand.

He states <2000 ww for every single thread with a mention of .2 RS. He should be fine.

the first US get cars were delivered in October or so. I don’t think we have 2k produced yet - probably 1300 or so in the US only

Doesn't it conflict with this stat though? 1000 cars produced by End of Jan 2018. This is produced NOT delivered but still.

Between USA and China alone will have close to 2,000. You might have to add in some small country too. Worldwide, you do the math.

I know this is a Porsche forum but there are alternatives. We all like their product or we wouldn’t be here. But vote with your wallet. Get a 600LT and mop the floors with the 3RS. It will be less expensive even with depreciation if you paid a huge ADM on the RS.

That does contradict heavily - but it would suggest there are a ton of cars sitting on dealer lots (as in several hundred), which can't be the case. One of the data sets is wrong.

I think the issue is that the production numbers Cam and Loews have were as of the production date whereas Ahmed997’s numbers are retail sales as of sales date. There is a pretty good lag in there (4-6 weeks) and recall ALL tourings in CARB states were held at port until CARB approval came in (CARB states are probably greater than 50% of GT3 sales). The lag and the Touring CARB issue is a couple hundred cars easy.

Anyway, we will know when Ahmed pulls 2017 sales numbers and we can try to get the apples closer to the oranges.

Yea i think we will know more once we get the 2017 numbers. I was assuming a one month lag between production and sale to try and calibrate the numbers.
