My New Green RS and Black "R"
I picked up my new GT3RS yesterday from Park Place Dallas and am quite happy to say the least. This is my fourth car to purchase from them. The level of customer service is on a completely different level than any other dealer I've dealt with over the years. I can't recommend them enough, especially my sales adviser JVS. I put a deposit down on this car over 2.5 years ago when I purchased my GT4. The car was well worth the wait!
We planned to drive it from Dallas back to OKC to start the break in period rather than trailering it back. In retrospect, I wished we had trailered it as it was a pretty awful 3.5 hour drive through absolutely pouring rain and traffic up I-35. Luckily, we made it back safely without incident. This afternoon I took it out on a drive with a few of my track buddies. The car is just epic but it is super hard to keep it under 4-5k RPM for the break in. I cannot wait to get more miles on it and then see what 8-9k feels like! The lizard green is just fantastic in person and changes a bit in different lighting. I went with the satin aluminum wheels and love the contrast with the green and black. Its the only lizard I've seen thus far with them. I can already tell they are going to be a pain to keep clean though. I plan to get a set of black track wheels soon.
At the last minute I decided to trade my 2017 C2S cab in on the RS and pick up a 2018 VW Golf R, 6 speed as a new daily. I love having a cabriolet but never quite fell in love with this one. The R is pretty fantastic on its own account and should make an awesome daily driver along side my 993. Plus, my wife just loves driving the R. Below are some pics of delivery and post getting the RS home and cleaned up. The R is next in line for a bath.

Lizard green with silver wheels, non-LEDs, and stick delete looks great. Congrats.

congratulations on the RS
good choice on the R . do the short shift kit on it, cheap and easy to do at home , and will have a big impact on shifting feel
