your garage certainly gives me a sense of just how large 911s have gotten. some is the camera but that 993 looks miata sized relative to the other cars. beautiful garage.

Can I ask you how you like your GT4 and why you have it in your collection? I am looking for an entry point into the GT arena and budget wise am really only at 997.1/2 or GT4 and having a hard time deciding. Thanks

i love talking about the GT4 and think it is the perfect entry into the GT world! no doubt the 997 GT3's have an awesome engine and are a fantastic 911, but the GT4 package is just fantastic. prices have dropped a bit. its more modern. you can find them CPO'd. they are just as fast if not faster around a track, and best of all is its midengine layout. i will likely keep it and figure out which car i want to track more, the GT4 or RS. the running costs on the GT4 are going to be cheaper, mainly in tire costs. with basic mods (track alignment/shims, harness bar, wheels/tires, exhaust/tune/plenum/throttle body) you have a car that keep up with a lot of 991.1 GT3's depending on the track. i have held off on the tune as i don't want to take a chance until my warranty is done. overall, its been a phenomenal car to improve my track skills and is very accessible. let me know if you have any more questions.
