Default Recommendation for rain/snow tires.

I know I’ve seen it posted somewhere, but can anyone recommend a 2nd tire (set) for rain/snow daily drive for GT3? I’m talking light rain and almost no snow. Something to cope with the northeast winters so I could still drive the car safely. Thanks.

I bought Michelin alpins on oz wheels.

Unfortunatley, there is not currently a matched set of snows for GT3 sizes so you have to go with a narrower rear wheel and 295 rear tires.

You could mix sottozero 2 and 3 to get a matched set as another option.

if you ignore the mocking (of me) there is some good info in this thread:

On a lark, I went to tirerack to check for tires and Bridgestone now makes all seasons in 245 35 R20 and 305 30 R20

My prayers have been answered. They are also very reasonably priced.

Ya, anyone want to buy a set of Alpins in 245 and 295 with very low miles?
