Grundy or Hagerty

I've been insuring with liberty mutual and been happy. My broker informed me to expect my GT3 RS rates to double upon my policy renewal.
Been inquiring with about a dozen companies and half won't insure the RS. I have a clean driving record. Grundy is 3200 annually and Hagerty is a few more dollars. Both Grundy and Hagerty are stated values 230K and 500K liability. How do these rates sound ? I was shocked to learn NV is in the top five most expensive markets to insure a car, SMDH I'm in the middle of the desert.

We pay absolutely obscene rates for our cars here in NY. Something like $2500/yr for my GT4 (less than half the value of a GT3RS) through USAA. My agent recently shopped other carriers and said nothing else would be better. My wife and I are in our 40s, with good driving records. I blame NY’s “no-fault” status in combo with so many crazy/idiot and/or uninsured drivers.

This all depends on where you live and the number of cars you have on your policy with the same carrier. When I added my GT2RS onto my Hagerty policy, it increased my overall policy by $300. You read it correctly, $300. This is because the GT2RS was my 10th car with Hagerty that puts my policy in a higher category. See the more you buy, the more you save!
