Default iPhone windshield mount for recording

I'm looking for a simple mount to take some video next weekend with my iPhone. I have the GoPro, but they are just a pain to deal with. Bluetooth makes the battery die quickly and pain to transfer data over to share. Looking for a solid mount to stick to Windsheild for iPhone X. Anyone have a good one?

+1 on Ram, but any new iPhone sucks for that, due to Optical Image Stabilization- another thread about this already...

OK I got the RAM mount but... I don't think it's usable. The mount itself takes up part of the field of view when recording video. Unless you mount the phone with the screen facing the mount and then mount the entire thing upside down on the windshield. But then you can't access the screen...

Playing with the angles a bit to see if I can find a position that works. But seems like a PITA

This one looks like it positions the phone better, but the reviews are sketchy.

Not that exact model RAM mount, but yeah basically the same thing. The suction cup portion is in the camera's field of view. You can position it so it's clear, but that would mean the camera is pointing at an angle to the side of the car. Not good for video in a car.

EDIT:
Oh, wait... I found the one position in which it works. It was like a little puzzle haha. Still, there's gotta be a better option out there.

My understanding is that the selfie mode is better so just need to mount in reverse for better optical stabilization, weird but seems to fix this problem on the new phones

I would personally still try out the GoPro. If you have the Porsche Track Precision App, it works well when you export the
. Even with a pretty solid iPhone mount, there was still a lot of vibrations and the auto stabilization really alters the feel of the video.
