Default GT2RS loses in Motor Trends Best Drivers Car

I'm not sure how many of you subscribe to Motor Trend on Demand, but I just watch the Best Drivers Car episodes and thought I'd let you guys know the results.

1. Huracan performante
2. GT2RS
3. McLaren 720s

The GT2RS had the quickest lap time, but the Huracan was more enjoyable to drive. I suspect it had something to do with the soundtrack. I wish they had a GT3 or GT3RS in the competition. Kudos to Lambo for making a great car.

3 great cars. probably close among all three. i do like the novel aero on the performante. probably would be my choice too if i had the cashola.

I drove a Performante on the track and the streets. That car is ridiculous, in a great way! The sound, the response, the crazy aero on the track, and did I mention the sound....Unbelievable! Imagine a louder 2018 GT3 with over a hundred more HP and aero that "un-drags" the car on the straights....

I posted this in another thread, but I find it weird that both the .1 and .2 GT3 were never tested for the competition. The RS as well. Doesn't make sense and disappointing because I wanted to see what pobst could do at laguna

I really wish they had a manual GT3 or the .2 RS in the competition.

Both Performante and 720 are ridiculous in a great way. Looking to pick one of them up. Just not sure if I can fit in a Perf- its not meant for taller drivers.

The sound is just incredible.

720 is on radar, but you are already seeing them go for sub $300 with a $390 sticker (one just traded)...they have a lot further to go. Especially come dead of winter. Think it would be a fun everyday.

2RS is track only IMHO (and killer at that).

There is no loser in that group of three.
Honestly Ive been waiting for them to drop in terms of depreciation but Im just not seeing them sub 300k yet. I honestly thought these would be in the high 270s by now. But I think you are right....come early 2019, these will come down. will see whats out in the market and evaluate. Im in no rush.

Yes bound to come down....I remember when I toyes with the idea of getting one to replace my 458 and dealers were lining up to get me an allocation.....there's already a decent amount of used ones out there.....

Very surprised by the Performante based on what I'm seeing come out on IG and here since I don't subscribe to MT on demand. Good for Lamborghini, happy to see the competition do well in that regard since the GT cars usually get all the accolades (rightfully so)

Actually, no GT car has won it. The standard 911s have won a lot.

997.1 GT3 won the first year when it was called “best handling car” think they changed the name the year after.

Did they mention how uncomfortable the Perfamonte's seats are? Those things are hard as a brick
