Default Swap the PCCB and standard break between carrera T and GT3T

Hi Guys, got the very very late allocation to GT3T, currently driving carrera T with PCCB. I'm wondering if I order the GT3T with standard break, can I swap the break between T and GT3T?

Current T - PCCB
GT3T- Standard

Wish outcome

T- Standard break from GT3T
GT3T- PCCB from Carrera T

Is it possible??
Thanks in advance

As long as the T is using the 410/390 disc this should work. Check with your dealer parts department to confirm.

I suspect the labour cost of swapping, the loss in T resale value (especially with the thought that the car was specced with PCCB) will make it worth just buying GT3T with PCCB

Hate to break it to you but that's "brake" not "break".

Even if the friction discs are the same size, the rotor hats may be different.
Not to mention the caliper differences. Uprights too I believe. The PCCB calipers are spaced further out to account for the larger rotor diameter.

Yes, so if you transplant the Yellow calipers onto the Carrera T, you will have to use manhole sized aftermarket iron rotors (410mm and 390mm and very thick), making the T's brakes FAR heavier than the stock OEM iron brakes for that car (and even much bigger than the iron brakes that come on the GT3, 380/380mm and thinner).

Makes more sense to use stock T brakes or maybe brakes from Carrera S, unless this is going to be a hardcore track car.

So... the good news is that the GT3 and Carrera share the same front caliper if you order PCCBs- part number 991 351 429 83. They are interchangeable, and hence you can swap the front calipers back and forth between you Carrera T and GT3T as you'd hoped.

The bad news is that none of the other part numbers are shared- both the front and rear PCCB rotors are different PNs, while the rear caliper is also different.

From the PET I can't tell why they are different. Dimensionally the rotors seem the same. The rotor PN is shared with the GT4; I know the GT3 got lighter hats than the GT4 so it could be something as simple as that, but it could also be something more fundamental having to do with the hubs, etc.
The deal-breaker is the rear caliper. I believe the GT3 may also use a different bolt spacing on upright and caliper at the rear. If that's true it will not allow the rear caliper to bolt up on either car even if everything else does. The calipers themselves incorporate spacers, so that's a non-issue.

Short answer is that while it's good thinking it looks complex to bottom out on if it will actually fit.
