Buckets are fairly comfortable but not that easy to get in and out of. Need to try to find someone close with them and give them a try.

I hate how the buckets feel...but that look cool. 997 buckets are much more comfortable.

I had the 4 ways in the GT4 and they are more comfortable than the buckets so far. The buckets are more upright, and I like to tilt back a little more. They do look cool, and are comfortable otherwise.

Depends how big you are. I think the LWBs perfect for the Smaller to Med sized Man but for a larger bodied person the sofas more comfy

You really have to try them, everyone's body is different. I'm very lean but big with wide shoulders, big arms, thick thighs and glutes from bodybuilding and powerlifting, and I'm uncomfortable in the buckets from the second I sit down in them. They push my shoulders forward and I just feel claustrophobic. Hence I ordered mine with sofas.

Like everyone said...find a local car with buckets and try them. For reference, I'm 6'0", 163 and they're comfortable, even on long trips. I don't have a problem getting in and out, nor does my GF who sleeps just fine in them.

For reference, I'm 6'1", 190 lbs, 44" chest, 32" waist, and I find seat back angle of the LWB very uncomfortable. Induces significant amount of lower back pain after 5 mins. Wouldn't even consider them. Sofa's are a must for me.

Two back surgeries, dislocated hip, both femurs repaired and both knees repaired. And the LWBs are the most comfortable supportive seat I’ve ever owned. I’ve done three hours, literally without getting out with zero pain or fatigue. I could barely do one hour in the 4 ways before my back and hips started to ache, 90 minutes and I was in serious pain.

Its all personal to the individual. The only way to know if LWBs are right for someone, is to actually get in them and drive around for a while.

i was in the same situation, found great spec, but had buckets. Decided to test it out, went to the LA Porsche experience center, took gt3 for 90 min with Buckets. Seats felt pretty good and got used to them, however, at the 60 min mark, back started to hurt and finally had to get out because my back was killing me. So, go sofas, cant go wrong with that. Its my dd as well, so damn glad i did test.

Ferrari of ATL has a red PDK with 18 way seats. They are asking about 25k over or so for it. Ask for Michael. I have no association other than I saw it today.

Thank you for the info. I may have an allocation or something? Gave my specs to the dealer. It is in V150 status - order releases for PAG (not sure what that means). I am not sure if they truly have an allocation or trying to get one from porsche. They also are supposed to pick up my 911TTS for a trade but I am waiting to hear from them.
