My car was checked in and had the PDI done within one day of he boat docking in San Diego. My SA called mr to tell me this, and get this, to inform me my car will not get to the dealership in San Diego until September 28th. All I could do is laugh. The boat bringing the car only took 5 days from the Panama Canal to San Diego about 3000 miles. My dealer is about 12 miles from the port.

The window sticker was printed. It's ready for release. Going to my dealership to pay for my RS during the weekend hopefully the RS shows up.

Makes sense. Aren't they being optimistic that the car will be in Nevada this weekend? FWIW, my car like yours is showing leaving the port on September 28th.

mine too. nobody I know believes me when I say my car is taking the genius highway from Europe to California...

Strange my SA tells me my car is on the Jasper Arrow and cleared PDI in San Diego .
Why are you paying insurance? You have a 30 day coverage (newly acquired vehicle) with your auto insurer before you need to notify them.

At any rate, car is paid for, financing 55K with BOA at 2.49%, I'm happy the way things turned out. BTW my dealership has a lizard RS in the showroom, while looks ok it would wear on me as time goes by. It's a very bright color. I'll get some of my pics up when it's delivered, but all protective wrap will be on as it's going straight for PPF.
