Why GT3.2RS steering is "lighter" ?
By Hanry Catchpole review and some rennlisters
the .2 RS steering have a less communicative feeling,
you don t steer it you point it (as a videogame...) then the car do its good job (what when not?)
practically there s a little delay between the driver's input and the car
something that can be fixed or not due the ball jointed geometry ?

I don't agree with Henry on this one. Steering is way better in .2 than .1. You feel every ripple and bump in the road. They finally got EPAS to work well.

This thread should be re-named “I’m bored so I’m going to stir up some chit with a half intelligible statement exaggerating a passing comment by a journalist”

its not the worst question in here.
"the .2 RS steering have a less communicative feeling, you don t steer it you point it"
for me this statement is not that negativ.
you don´t steer it you place it. or: you don´t steer it with the hand. no. you steer with the foot / with thr rear.
... are for examples statements which are true speaking about other cars - which are not bad / which are funny and emotional cars at all.
maybe we go to much in detail...
i personally prefer the steering / springs / shocks / subframe over the .1GT3RS - just simple from the driver seat.
it is again more a racecar than the .1GT3RS is.

Mr. Fxz apparently didn’t hear Henry say “the whole car feels so direct” or “now the way this gets into corners is just so instant in the front end” or “even in the wet it feels so agile” or on the Ring “the car was sensational, you can tell this is where it belongs” or “this is a wonderful car” or “those two little letters RS still give you goose bumps” and have “come to mean so much” or the “latest version certainly hasn’t let the RS moniker down”.
Yup, sounds like this one needs work. Maybe a strongly worded letter to PAG is in order?
Mpst importantly my impressions from my drive match the above comments. It was evident from behind the wheel.

Most of the known world doesn’t speak fxz, but now we also know that fxz doesn’t speak Henry Catchpole either.

I've read every article I can find on the new GT3 RS and to a man they all rave about the car's steering, as well as everything else about the car. I'm picking mine up tomorrow and I am looking forward to owning another stellar Porsche GT car. I'll report back after I accumulate some seat time.
