991.1 GT3RS Value Question - How does mileage affect value?
I am looking at two GT3RS's and have honed in on one of the cars
Car #1 - has a MSRP of 208K and has 7.5K miles
Car #2 - Has a MSRP of 214K and has 3K miles
Difference in negotiated purchase price is $10K
I will gladly save $10K by choosing the car with high mileage and slightly less options but I am curious what the general perspective/ opinion is on Value based on mileage (I expect to drive this car 6K miles a year) ....Thank you very much!

You do realize there is more than meets the eye here, don't you? What was the in-service date on those cars? How much warranty is left? Are they CPO'd? Etc.

Thank you and yes,I am sorry for not mentioning this earlier - please consider all else equal
considering all else equal which car should I go for ..or is the 3000 less miles and the increased MSRP worth 10K more?
The increased MSRP is basically for the following -
interior painted exterior color (I like this) compared to CF trim
footrest in AL
doorsills illuminated
the lower priced car does not have the above but has the lightweight battery which I particularly like

I think mileage is less important unless both specs are equal, and it seems they’re not? More important would be the serving, and track miles vs non? Also will you track the car, and if not the light weight batter is pointless. How long do you plan on keeping the car, and yes could be easier selling a car with lower miles just because some believe it’s better .....10k is a good savings if it’s a toss up, but if not want you want shop around lots of cars out there. By the way I wouldnt pay 214k for a 3 year old car ..........pressure on .1’s as point .2’s are arriving.

Both same color #2 with less miles and goodies with the larger discount off MSRP. Any pic of the CF hood?
#9
I love the CF hood and I am told that the previous owner spent $25K + on the mods but I havent seen the car in person
here is a picture - I dont know who made this part or the other CF parts but dealer says they were all imported from Germany

Plan on keeping the car 3-4 years which is why I am getting the CPO warranty
Yes I realize that the .1RSs are going down in price right now that the .2s are arriving
gosh, I cant decide, should I wait?

the car has low miles love the look ...........make and offer and see where’s it goes. If you can’t get a .2 allocation go for #2. My last RS for UV it’s a special color in my book

If you cannot wait. I would get car #2. I personally prefer the smooth leather steering wheel. It seems higher optioned cars have a little more desirability for future resale.
