We did 4,500km in 7 days. I now have 8,500kms on the car (including 5 track days) in only 8 weeks of ownership. It's no garage queen and certainly being used as intended.

At Monza, I noticed a Gelbgrun GT3.2 USA car. Someone obviously doing an ED. Anybody on this forum?
I meant to go introduce myself but after the accident I was somewhat busy arranging stuff so did not get a chance to say hello. My apologies if I appeared aloof.

That's really cool. Well, what do you think of this latest and greatest vis-a-vis the others you have recently owned.

Since I took delivery of my GT3.2 PDK in April last year, I have done 16,000 kms in it. On top of that I have also done 6,000kms in my GT3 Touring and 8,000kms in my AMG GTR. That's a total of 38,000 kms across 4 cars (GT3.2 RS, GT3.2 PDK, GT3 Touring and AMG GTR). So I think I am in a pretty good position to say unequivocally that the RS is the best of the bunch. But the AMG GTR is close behind. My least liked car is my GT3 Touring.

sorry to hear about the crash but at least you succeed in continuing such a great trip! did you enjoy the car at Mugello? That's my favorite track and I do believe it's the right place to understand how capable is this car!

Fortunately, I was with my friend (and PI) who has raced there many times so he was able to quickly show me how to drive the track (and how not to drive the track). Mugello is his favourite track of all. He loves it.
Unfortunately, because we arrived late in the day, we only got 1.5 sessions so did not really get enough track time to get truly comfortable with the layout. I would like to go back for another crack at it....but it's a loooong way from Belgium.

Three Wheelin'
Looks like you have a track story to tell without too much damage. Hopefully it's just the left rear wheel, no suspension and, no body work. Did black GT3 owner offer to pay for repairs?
Dan (thinks "truly sorry for my mistake" is not as good as "I'll pay for it")

Ues he did offer to psy and according to the agreement you sign when you attend Pistenclub events, if you cause an accident you are liable to pay for all the damage you inflict on other cars.

Glad everything worked out (relatively speaking). Question: how was Dijon? I realize it wont be in the same league as Monza and Mugello, but is it at least decent? My wife's family live close by and ive been thinking of doing some of the single seater things they run around there.

I am very pleasantly surprised (and happy for you) that the damage is as minor as it appears to be. After seeing the video, I would have expected significant left rear damage on your car. Glad you were able to continue your trip!

KYROCKS? I know he is getting a Gelbgrun and was planning on ED.
