Why doesn't PCNA use a national allocation program for GT cars?
....to try to lessen the madness of ADMs and the potential shenanigans seen recently at Champion Porsche. The model could be the distribution of Club Blau cars for the 60th by PCA, or probably more fairly granting allocations to customers to be purchased through their designated dealer based on prior purchase history.

Ok here’s the plan .....sure we all can chip in and buy our own dealership. We can make it the largest dealership in the country, and all GT cars at MSRP?

Cant believe u guys still think its distribution system. As long as demand > supply, there will be a person without allocation bitching about it. PAG is pumping out gt cars and once supply = demand, premium will drop.
Supply and demand its econ 101

Because it would be the right thing to do and perhaps cause a small loss in profit in the grand scheme of things at the expense of having a happy satisfied client base. Makes no sense at all why PCNA would do that

you’re correct the factory is going full bore, and the risk can be quality. Hype along with the winter will slow the drama ......still too manny cars for sale this didn’t happen with them 991 GT3. RS, and GT2 all hitting at the same time is causing a GT3 dump.

Whenever I see "fair" distribution thread, it seems like people want GT cars to be still limited and exclusive yet this magically "fair" system picks them who are better enthusiast than lowly flippers. All this ADM will be gone once supply hits and I am willing to bet that there is currently enough or more GT cars (including .1 gt3, .1rs, .2 gt3 and .2 rs) than market can digest. Look at all those .1 gt3 and .1 rs rotting in dealer lot. Soon it will be .2 cars.

Because Porsche, like most successful businesses, has realized that letting the marketplace determine the value of their cars works just fine.

Considering the most important client base to Porsche’s future is a bunch of Macan buying Chinese, I don’t see how a GT car allocation system would have much impact on anything.

I mean, I just wish they would give CJ 100 allocations and we all just buy directly from his dealership. Sell the cars for MSRP, but with a catch--the salesman can set the deposit at their discretion, say you want to order something "unique" (maybe hard to sell) then a non-refundable deposit of a negotiated amount. And CJ gets right of first refusal to buy it back for MSRP for 18 months. Do you think there are 100 people on Rennlist who would accept those rules and buy from him? I sure would.
