Euro6c in effect as of Sept 1st. What did it really change?
I remember active discussion about Euro6c regulations and it's effect to GT cars or 911 in general.
Now it's fully in effect starting Sept 1st and it has been already 2 weeks, what has actually happened?
As far as I know, Porsche has stopped sales of its cars in Europe at the moment due to re-certifying cars for E6c.
1) Did they stop sales of all 911 in Europe? and now factory is making cars just for outside of Europe?
2) Will GT3 and .2 RS be fitted with particulate filter if made after 9/1/18? Or does particulate filter thing only affect EU cars?
3) How does this affect GT cars in the future? AFAIK, as long as Porsche makes bunch of electric cars to keep average emission level down, we can still see naturally aspirated high revving engines in the future.
Any feedback is appreciated

As far as I have been told by several customers that have enquired with their Porsche Center in different European countries the sales for all new and configurable 911s are stopped.
The first to resume should be the 991 GTS.
There should be a further lot of 991 GT3 RS mk2 with the new particulate filter but probably at the beginning of 2019.
For GT3 should be done and no more EU compliant cars.
This are the info I got.

Thanks for the input. Did you guys hear anything about all 992 implementing mild hybrid (afaik, using starter motor as a form of power delivery) as a part of euro6c?

I am very surprised it doesn't draw more attention here. Basically GT3s are done for Europe due to new emission standards and that should mean plenty available for US market. Get one while you can as I predict that 992 is going to be the last 911 with just combustion engine.
Next possibly hybrid followed by pure electric. Unless Porsche decides to manufacture them for other markets than Europe.

Whats happening with Porsche and 6c is a mystery. Right now none of their models comply with the 6c standard. Not even the new Cayenne!
Here is a list of all 6c compliant cars:
https://www.adac.de/infotestrat/umwe..._euro_6d_temp/
Yes, it says 6d-TEMP. 6d-TEMP is tested in real driving conditions, while 6c is tested in a lab. 6d-TEMP is there to check that the 6c numbers are correct. Cars approved after September 1st 2017 needs to comply to both standards. So a 6c approved car is 6d-TEMP compliant and vice versa.
There is a exemption to 6d-TEMP for small volume manufacturers (less than 10 000 cars per year). All Ferraris are now 6c compliant, but they are not on that list since it only shows 6d-TEMP. Lamborghini has obviously chosen to to the 6d-TEMP test, even though they don't have to.

I'm actually wrong that there are no 6c approved Porsches. The 718 and the 911 Carrera models are now 6c approved. It must have happened recently, because they were not when I checked last weekend. The European Porsche configurator still says you can't order them.
But the Panamera, Cayenne and Macan is yet to be approved.
