My dealer offered me a GT3RS as for some reason they thought that was my eventual goal, I declined as my use is 100% street and I like three pedals and I would prefer not to stand out (if I got a GT3RS or GT2RS it would be in black and the wing would be a shelf in my house, not on the car).
its all about what YOU want. While I am sure the cars feel similar, they look very different and the whole PDK v. 6MT.

Honestly, I do like the PDK. I like manual cars too but these things are almost too revy for a manual. I'm sure I'd get used to it . I just don't like having to downshift 3 gears to hit some power on the highway.

I’d love to drive both but that’s just not an option unfortunately. I’ve seen a few GT3 touring for sale but imagine how hard or impossible to get my deposit back from Champion! Lol

Are you getting your RS at MSRP? If so, I have a Touring for sale. Sell it to you and will buy your RS.
im serious. Pm me if you want to discuss further.

I did not get it at MSRP but I did get a pretty good deal as far as ADM goes. There are no more GT3 allocations at Champion this year so I can't change my order. I was told this is the last .2 3rs allocation but I find that hard to believe.

I had a winged 991.2 GT3 manual for 2400 miles and am now at 600 miles on the .2 3RS.
For 100% road use, the GT3 hands down, largely because of the more compliant suspension. All the other differences are secondary, IMHO, when it comes to DD the car. I could easily DD my manual GT3 but the RS suspension beats me up a bit for drives on less than perfect roads.

I’ll probably get flamed for suggesting this but you can always remove the wing and uprights of the RS if you’re just puttering around town for that subdued look...but I think color selection is just as important if you want to draw less attention.

PAG is ramping up full steam on the 992. Any further RS production will only be throughout 2nd Q 2019

Does anyone have an idea on how easy / difficult it is to remove the rear spoiler on the RS?
