These claims seem unbelievable but there are many people posting they put deposits down, were given Commission number and bilked - Is this what the GT3 market has come to? Porsche dealers are used to getting ADM and overpricing above MSRP that they now feel entitled to your money enough to lie to customers?

If true, this is a serious blemish on Porsche in the USA

I want to see this ADM crap by Porsche go away...I hope this Champion scam bites them right in the ***. There has to be a few customers in this scam with major money and legal connections that want to make an example out of Champion and Porsche.

It may be difficult to implicate Porsche, but if this story has substance Champion will be on the hot seat even if only one individual defrauded the customers involved.

If champion wants to make good for one buyer, they can have my incoming GT3 PTS touring at $150k ADM.

Seems like Jalopnik, Miami Herald, and the Broward sheriffs department are next up!! Could Porsche yank their dealership? Pretty frustrating from a former customer here that intelligently moved dealers!!

I've heard from multiple sources that the missing deposits in question total around $2.5 million

Shiraaz Sookralli was VP of Marketing at Champion Porsche and handled all GT car sales and allocations.

He set up his own shill company called Champion Autosports and took deposits for Porsche GT car allocations through it. From all indications at this time, it seems Shiraaz Sookralli acted alone. He is now missing.

It looks as if Champion IS NOT honoring their deposits right now, but directing victims to their attorney.

I feel very sorry for the guys who were taken advantage of here. Hopefully some resolution by PCNA and the dealership in question here happens.

What a joke this whole Porsche GT car deposit thing is. Some USA dealers are probably holding a couple million $$ each in interest free $$. I wouldn't trust them with my money.

Auratium Green. Perfect for Floridian retirees. worth at least $200k over.

I an very sorry that this happened to those involved. My read about referring to the lawyer is that Champion needs to sort stuff out before resolving and does not want anyone saying anything out of turn as it is undoubtedly a criminal and regulatory matter I would be shocked if at the end of the day people did not at least get their money back. The more interesting question is whether they have claims to get the car they ordered or compensation at market price (for example, if someone ordered and has a confirmed contract for a PTS GT3 at $15k ADM, are they entitled to what it would cost to get a replacement or just the $15k deposit).

*not legal advice*

*disucssion purposes only*
