Did Champion Porsche really rip off more than 30 GT3 buyers' deposits?

Champion Porsche will end up eating this with maybe some help from Porsche NA, but I doubt it. This guy was there employee. They would most likely have insurance for this. The help from Porsche would be to deliver more cars to these buyers that have been waiting. Champion Porsche's insurance can go after the salesman.

Perhaps this debacle will result in PCNA finally getting a handle on the shameful sales practices of their dealers. Quite a disgrace for such a preeminent brand.

$2,500,000!? That's a hundred $25,000 deposits. $25,000 is not a conventional deposit amount but rather high. He must of asked people for more, and I bet some of them even prepaid to get to the top of the list. This is a gross oversight by the dealer. How is it possible that this fraud went unnoticed? I'd bet a lot of money that scammed customers (if any of this is true) will be made whole by dealer and/or PCNA.

Wow! I gave Champion a 15k deposit in January, and took delivery of my GT3 at the end of June. Got the ADM down quite a bit. I worked with Paul Greenberg, and it was a relatively smooth process. I am grateful I wasn't involved, but sure feel bad for those who got scammed.

Somewhere it was noted there are like 24-25 people part of being defrauded. Maybe someone can confirm.

as far as I’m concerned he stole $15,000.00 from me, messed up my order and made me wait 75 days for the final paperwork. When I complained at the time he said he’d give the car to someone else if I didn’t take it and he would not be able to replace it.

Porsche Germany have let the USA rape the public. Shiraaz Sookralli must have been a senior member to be sole control of all Champion dealership's GT car sales so he was well trained in the Porsche doctrine. He is a byproduct of Porsche training. I bet he saw how Porsche was free to charge whatever they want to GT customers, simply easy money for Porsche to steal from USA customer, learning these "tricks" from Porsche and decided to get a piece for himself. The attitude is systemic
Why not? Porsche Germany has agreed that Americans can be made to pay over MSRP (I paid $30k for my 991,2 GT3 and $21k for my GT4) and Porsche need the money to pay for Dieselgate. Are there any other country's citizens that are made to pay OVER MSRP for GT3 cars. Why is the USA the rip off target?
Unfortunately, customers are suffering, Porsche does not care and my 991.2 GT3 is my last Porsche. I refuse to be party to unscrupulous actions by Porsche dealers.
Funny, I moved away from modern Ferraris because of dealer games but right now, Ferrari seem so transparent compared to Porsche.
Time to go back to Ferrari
