Default 2015 GT3 E-Brake question!!!

Hi,

not sure if i am doing something wrong but i have a question about my 2015 GT3 E BRAKE.
I drive from work to home, park the gar in the garage.
Next morning I turn the car on, put it in reverse to exit my parking spot and start driving.
The E Brake is off.

I drive from home to work.
I don't do anything special. Turn the car off.
When I leave work and put it in reverse to exit parking spot, my E BRAKE IS ON and I have to manually disengage it.
Why is that???

Silly I know but it is driving me crazy.

Thoughts?lol

If you opened the door before putting car in park, it automatically engages.

In the manual .2, if you have your seatbelt latched, and the parking break is on, it will automatically go off when going forward, but stays in when reversing.

not sure why it engages every time i get to work and never when i get home.
maybe i do something different.
i will need to study my motions lol.
when i drive home before entering garage i have car in pdk auto.
when i get to work usually is in pdk manual.
maybe when i get to work i open the door and then put it in park from the manual position?
i will see tomorrow what i do.lol

thank you for the response milehigh911
