I am 6ft and LWBs work great for me too, you get used to the upright seating position, at least I did, and no issues with helmet on the lowest height setting.

I like the OEM angle on the street (no helmet). With a helmet, you're gonna want some recline. I tried the TrackSpec brackets, which raise the mounting point in the front by one inch. AutoQuest is 1.5 inches I believe? So if the Autoquest are angled too much, maybe the TrackSpec ones might be a better option for some.

Admittly, It took a little getting used to.
However, I’ve also REMOVED the seat cushion and had a VERY thin replacement made. I like the deeper bucket and more headroom and best of all...the feedback through the seat is way better. I can feel every stone I drive over.

Anyone know which one reclines the seat the most? Trackspec shows theirs raise the front of the seat 1". Other one talks about 3 degrees change, but no height number.

I had AutoQuest arms on my GT4, and the TrackSpec brackets on my GT3. I prefer the overall angle of the TrackSpec brackets, along with the fact that they are a consistent height increment in the front over the stock angles vs height.

My AutoQuests are coming off today, OEM parts going back on, going to the track this weekend and will see a) how my back tolerates the 250 mile drive to the track and b) if it's too uncomfortable when wearing a helmet. If I'm not happy with stock position after 2 track days and a 500 mile road trip I'll report back and probably order the TrackSpec brackets next week.

^^^ As stated above, I had my dealer take off the AutoQuest seat angle adjusters and put the OEM arms back on, then did a several hundred mile road trip/track weekend. They are perhaps a litttle more upright than ideal, but I've decided to stick with it. It's admittedly slightly less comfortable than with the AutoQuest, but OEM is a better driving position, at least for me. For me the main issue was the slight bit of free play/movement that I just couldn't torque out with the AutoQuests. With the OEM part back in, the seat is rock solid so I'm happy. If I could find a solution that was both a)rock solid/no movement and b) had a recline somewhere between OEM and AutoQuest, I might try it. And TrackSpec might fit the bill and be the next thing I try. But for now, I'm happier with the stock arms than I was with the AutoQuest. However YMMV and accordingly my AutoQuest seat angle adjusters are available, so if anyone has interest in buying them for less than new, PM me. If this post doesn't generate any interest I may offer them in the marketplace in a few days.

I did a track day at Thunderhill recently. I had no problem with a helmet on and stock seat angle. If I were wearing a HANS and had harnesses, maybe it'd be a different story. But I have no reason to go back to a reclined seat it seems. Head position would be slightly better with a recline, but I prefer the driving position of OEM angle. Really, what the seats need is back angle as stock, but the headrest angle titled back slightly. I like the upright seating position, the headrest is just slightly forward. So when you recline the seat to get your head back a bit, it leans your torso back too much I think.
