Agree with this concern. I'm on the list for the Taycan, but worried about the final size. Will look at multiple companies announcing electric cars in the next 18 months.

I like the idea of an electric DD, coupled with an NA GT3 for weekend fun.

I might be interested in an EV Macan.

EV macan would be perfect for DD.

Nope.
There is no soul, no sweet spot, simply apply Max Voltage and you get Max Torque. No involvement, not engaging.

Yep
I'm in line. I miss the instant torque of my ex-Tesla.

I'm interested in the LR version of the I-PACE if it has better styling, but the Taycan has the fastest charging, and perhaps leads to a more likely GT allocation.

I do not own a GT3 but my next sedan will be a Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Executive and, after that, a Taycan.

Ditto.
I switch between the Targa GTS and a Denali pickup as a DD. Really like the idea of the Cross Turismo. Have a fairly short commute, barely enough to get the Targa up to temp. Looking forward to seeing how engaging the Cross T will be to drive.

I'm in. Deposit given.

Few things though :

1) Final price point
2) Must look like Mission E Concept (expect to see side view mirrors and pillar between door)
3) Availability of charging infrastructure
4) Expected lifespan of batteries

My DD is an F-250 and sometimes a smaller car would be good. Would be cool too if I could drop a plate down in my garage and just park over it to charge.

If Porsche gets this right, #byebyetesla.

Not interested in an electric car at all until they get more mature. There's no reason I can think of right now for me to get one, it would just give me a new set of headaches I didn't have before.

agree on #2. Told dealer the same. My biggest disappointment so far is the Cross Tourismo concept that’s been driven by a couple journalists as supposedly the more production-like version. Looks like a cross between a Panamera Sport Turismo and Audi Allroad with a little Ford Raptor sprinkled in. Yuck. What the hell is Porsche thinking?

Is there a good chance #2 ?
Spy pics seem identical to Panamera. I like Panamera look but thought mission E looked really amazing.

Quick Reply: Taycan (Mission E) interest?
