Question on GT3 Park Place Allocation
I placed a $3000 deposit on a GT3 back on March 6 2017. They told me back then that I was number 44 on the wait list at Park Place.
I still haven't received an allocation. Is this normal?

44? I’m surprised they even took your money!
well, actually not that surprised.
I thought even most large dealers got 10-15 GT3?

This has gotta be a fake post. You are in Atlanta and you put down 4K to be 44th on the list? lol.

Yes, it’s completely normal. Park Place is a nationally known @ MSRP GT car dealer and thus their wait lists fill early and fast. They (to the best of my knowledge) do not cap (by quantity) or restrict (by location) placing a deposit but they’ll generally tell you after a certain point your chances are slim. However, I’ve had friends receive allocations from them who were in the 20s on their list for GT4s, in the mid teens for .2 GT3s and not receive an allocation when being sub 10 for a GT2 RS. They receive a ton of GT cars and do the best they can to fulfill every request. They’re also very good at rolling your deposit on to another list/car if you decide to switch to a different vehicle.

I'm surprised they even took your money for a deposit because you were so far down the "list" and you are out of state. I've been told by them that they really don't want to sell out of state. In the case of GT cars, there is very little reason for them to because they can sell all they get and then some in their own backyard. I'm sure there are exceptions if someone has a history with them.

All gt3’s are done? No?

I put a deposit on a .2GT3 and .2RS back in 2015 and no dice so I asked for my deposits back. I think they take care of their local customers first which is fine with me.

I am in OKC and my second GT car just arrived to PP on Friday. This will be my 4th P car to purchase from them. They are phenomenal. Best dealer I have dealt with over the years. There is definitely a big competition for their GT cars. I placed a deposit on my GT3RS over 2.5 years ago and was #1 on their deposit list. I am sure they have VIP’s without deposits who got their cars before me, but I get that given how many high roller Dallas guys they have buying numerous cars from them each year. I highly recommend PP an my SA JVS.

I buy all my GT cars from Park Place. I think I’ve bought 8-9 cars from them. They are a very good dealership.
I still don’t have a confirmed GT3 RS allocation. I submitted my build though.
