Is the gt3 really better then a tts?

Yes.
1) You have sensitive hearing, the RS is louder due to shorter R&P gear and less sound insulation
2) You want a more subtle car, GT3 is available with Wing delete, RS is not
3) Availability: regardless of cost, there are always more GT3 for sale than RS

Some people might prefer the somewhat lower key looks of the GT3 or maybe the touring vs the RS. But I'd bet that vast majority of winged-PDK-GT3 owners wish they had an RS, even if they don't want to admit it.

Oh my, the well stated comments I have read, I applaud you all, but let's just cut to the chase.
If you have a Wiener you go for the GT3RS....
If you have a Vaginer you go for a TT.
If you like wine and nibbling cheese, creasing your slacks, and wearing light blue sweaters you get a TT...
IF you wear Jeans and T-shirts you get a GT3RS
IF you like Michael Bolton get a TT for sure
IF you like Sound Garden get a GT3RS
IF you you eat bananas with your lips touching the banana get a TT
IF you use your teeth to bite a piece of banana get a GT3RS
I could go on but I think that about sums it up.
Oh yeah if you can't take a joke get a TT....

RS owners tend to think they are cooler than TT owners, and while they might indeed be a little cooler, possible better looking and more in shape, there have not been any scientific studies to prove this. He actually thinks Turbos are faster and with some tweaking offer as much if not performance on the track.. But Turbos DO NOT look as cool by any stretch of the imagination, and as Benjamin Franklin said "You can't make Chicken Salad out of Chicken Sh*%...

LOLOLOLOL ^^
This guy!!!
I tend to see that list there other way around...lol
However, I love wine and cheese.
I listen to Michael Bolton and all types of music.
I would only wear jeans, cargos, and T-shirts if I could get away with it daily. Unfortunately I have to be in uniform with my weapons and body armor daily.
I for one LOVE the understated looks of the TT vs. any " HEY LOOK AT ME" cars like the GT3 (RS). I like simple, clean, raw, fast, torquey, and UNDER the Radar type of cars.
If you're scared of the TT's power, Just say so brother!! LOL

I mean, the gt3 is all shouty and has a big wing...the Turbo S is sleek with wide hips and slips around without shouting...must we make compensation jokes here?
Oh ****, they are still 911s, so we are ALL compensating still

Burning Brakes
I have the RS and TTS.
The RS engine sound and looks are nautical miles better than the TTS, but my TTS is a better car in every other way.
1) brakes are a wash (PCCB, SRF and GT3RS pads on both)
2) torque: TTS (massive difference)
3) power: TTS (519hp on RS vs 700hp on TTS)
4) handling at low speeds (up to 50mph): TTS
5) handling at medium speeds (50mph-100mph): TTS
6) handling at high (100+ mph): RS (a rear wing like TPC did to their shop 991TTS fixes this)
7) Steering feedback: RS
8) entering a turn: RS
9) exiting a turn: TTS
10) Cooled seats, Bursmester, comfortable seats, no unwanted noises in the cabin, cabin finishes: TTS
11) Transmission: TTS (cobb-PDK with high-torque program)
12) Lap times: TTS
13) Nannies: TTS (launch control enabled with nannies off, good for hill climbs, rally segments, standing start time trials. RS forces to run with nannies ON if using LC, and nannies make the RS slow)
Both my RS and TTS have a few mods. TTS is on stiffer springs than my RS, it is lighter than most TTS out there (206 lbs heavier than my RS with both on a full tank, RS has buckets/base stereo/plastic interior), TTS on stiffer bushings, both cars share the same track wheels/tires (lighter wheels than the Porsche Mg $$$ ones and real track tires, not the DE abundant street tires shod to most GT cars).
This is my 3rd GT3 and my 1st TTS, the 991TTS is the first TTS that performs well on road courses. Unfortunately, the next gen TTS will gain massive weight due to the battery pack (Porsche is doing e-hybrid next), so the 991.2 TTS is the last lightweight TTS.
The better car, the TTS. If I can only keep one, GT3RS because RS.

Yet you put them on the same track with the same driver and the TTS will likely (as done many times before), be quicker than the GT3.
Unless you're full time tracking, or just have to have a third pedal, and don't mind a horrible ride on the street, The TTS is just about Perfection IMHO.
