Default 991.1 GT3 RS clear side markers will NOT fit 991.2.

Info on Suncoast is incorrect, there are quite a few differences. Waiting to hear back from them.

Parts I received were 991 631 256 82 and 991 631 255 82.

I was told by the parts department of 2 different dealers that the answer is YES.

Argh, if that's the case I should have kept my GT3 markers.

Anyone have a pic of the back of the GT3 marker?

Absolutely not, RS has a wider fender so the lens is curved out unlike on the GT3. I really think the .1 RS lights will fit on the.2, same as the GT3 1 and 2. The front fenders on the RS is unchanged from .1 and .2, just the front clip, the lights follow the contour of the fender.

It doesn’t fit I just tried yesterday there are several differences including the angle of the plug.

You tried a .1 RS clear marker on a .2 RS and it didn't fit?
Or did you try a GT3 clear on and RS? This definitely won't work.

Suncoast lists them as special order. Porsche hasn't released an updated PET. If you just look a the pictures of the 991.2 GT3 and RS you can see the parts are not interchangeable.

Before you buy........I'd ask my dealer to throw in the clear side markers free for such a purchase. I also asked for a license plate frame and aluminum gas cap free, got all three...........

Quick Reply: 991.1 GT3 RS clear side markers will NOT fit 991.2.
