Is the Gt3 a daily driver ?

raw tts will be much more comfortable/quiet if compared with a gt3 imo, I dd my car it is a joy of ride but it is harsh in a good way due deadening removal, so you actually hear more engine noise rocks hitting inner wheel well. just raw , expect a lot of cops fines :-) gt3 will make you go fast cause this naturally asperated engine becomes a live on higher rpm, Gd luck in whatever you decide both cars are great, will never go wrong with either of them

Driving a GT3 in the rain well let’s say pouring rain is not fun vs a turbo which is really designed more for street use. You can drive anything on the street, and the question is how comfortable do you want to be. Good luck with your choice

Sofas and front nose lift are a must if its a daily. My wife and I pack up ours and road trip in it at least once a month. Makes every trip a hell of a lot more fun. Also swap tires out for the Michellin 4S or Super Sports. Goodluck

In an effort to be helpful, thinking about what could be unique to your situation possibly not covered in the multiple threads, I came out with one: You are thinking about swapping a 2018 TTS for a GT3. I suggest you find answers to 3 questions, either by researching or just asking your dealer.
1. What trade in money can you get for your '18 TTS? You may not like the answer.
2. Can you get an '18 GT3 to your specifications? You may not like the answer.
3. If you can get an '18 GT3, what will it cost you? You may not like the answer.
If by any chance you still like the answers you get to the above questions, then yes, the GT3 can be a good daily driver.

It's a great daily driver if you want a sports car.
It's not a cushy grand tourer like the TTS. For me, it's better in every way.
Full bucket seats are a must in a GT car. Really quite simple to get in and out of once you've had them more than an hour. Don't listen to the naysayers.

It is, but I would not.
Just got back from Monterey with both the GT3 and Cayman GTS (1500 miles). The GTS was so much more comfortable......
If every day I could drive the canyons, then yes!

I just traded in my 2016 GTS Aero and picked up a 2014 GT3. Previously owned a 2015 Turbo. The GT3 and Turbo both share a suppleness in their rides. The GTS was a bit hard on bumpy roads - sort of like the shocks would transmit the small and big bumps harshly. No modifications to all three vehicles. Daily a GT3? Yes, you can. FAL is a must. Of course, YMMV.

I was in the same situation 4 years ago trading my Turbo for a 991.2 GT3 as a daily drive.
No regrets. The GT3 puts a bigger smile on my face than the turbo did.
