This will depend on what kind of car you replaced the Spyder with?

My dealer has 2 GT2RS available for sale at 200K ADM. They just sold one last week at 160K over.

this is a very interesting thread
it’s value but not quite
as I advance in my career of retirement I met more and more clients who either grows money on trees or print them in the garage. frankly 150-200 extra is SIMPLY not worth their time to think about it. bc he hour it takes tomdecode they would have made 3x
that much. to
them it
doesntmatter it really doesn’t. I cannot fathkm
that until I start taking off six zeros in their BS so
i can run the calc faster. then I realized buying a 500k for them is like me buying a 500 lap top
for my daughter. I don’t need to think if I buy it at 450 from amazon or 444 on ebay. it’s not worth my time

and 997gt2 rs vs 991gt2 rs
if u arw investing then 997 is the bet i’ll take
if u are driving , sorry stick or no stock fast or slow ... by ANY standards measurable or not the 991gt2rs is way way better. it is that good.

btw dod
some of u say 50-75 over buys one? i’m a buyer at that number. pls send the lead. i’m serous. I cannot afford 250 over but for 75 i can take
one is my kids our of private school and sell the other for slavery. we can put them
in a MT LLC and made selling kids legal.

So he knows that he'll never see that ADM again, right? Or did he back it as an investment? haha

Oh yes, I explained it to him in detail. He's the type of buyer that will sell in a year's time and buy something else. From his perspective, he is ok losing 80-100k a year on a car. It's like buying a Turbo S cab, you lose about the same amount in a year.

As long as he bought it with "eyes wide open" then it's all good because I did that with the .1RS, hope he enjoys driving the car.

Agree on your comments.

We know people get hung up simply because they couldn't get the car, thus the ADM. It is just the nature of the beast when demand cannot meet supply, or financial capability doesn't match the price of commodity. Some people have money trees or they have a nice color printer in their basements/garages.

Another way of putting it, when we drive our Porsches, what do you think those people who drive "common/regular cars" think about when they see us driving our Porsche? Same difference.

Here in my area, I know at least four people who wouldn't blink their eyes if ADM is $50k-$75K. They do not exist .

Drive safe,

Good for the buyer -- his money, his choice. Not everyone buying these cars lives on RL perseverating about "bad guy dealers" and trying to nickel and dime their way through life. Some people have real money, buy what they want when they want, and then just get back to work (making more real money). If the high ADM means nothing to the buyer, so be it. If no one is paying these ADMs, then the asking prices will come down as a simple matter of market correction. But a lot more GT# buyers pay high ADMs than a lot of folks here on RL realize.

Once the novelty of these cars are over or like that buyer he moves on to the next new toy in a year, there will be plenty of these used GT2RSs without many deep pocket buyers which will result in prices going towards MSRP. I'm sure there's some people who bought the car as an investment and once they realize that prices are going down they'll also be unloading their cars.
