Let me rephrase (i'm bitter about market!) I can barely justify 350k sticker, but can't pay a penny more! (ok, maybe 50k more) . No I have not driven, I love my .1 3rs so I can only imagine the thrill of this car!!! Uggg!!

I realized tonight I haven't thought about my
.2 gt3 once. It's a completely different level and if you can swing it do it. You will be flabbergasted at the performance.

To good, to exotic, to fast, to expensive for my talent and wallet.
And I did miss screaming NA, but I’d plumb the pipes Turbo back straight out of the rear cannons and fix that right fast.
And then there is the little goofy water tank but Mathey already has a bigger one.

Im sure it will slow down in ATL heat but still make the GT3RS feel like perma lag..

And then, where do you go from here?
How do you ever go back to 350lb TQ?

Id be scared for so many reasons hahaha.

Exactly the question I've asked the most... what do I do now???? What's next? I am so smitten with this car, it brings me so much sheer joy, far more than anything on 4 wheels I've ever owned before.

And to your point, I'm absolutely blown away with it driving it in 90 degree heat. I cannot imagine when the temps are in the 50's or 60's.

I'm done, I'm finished. I am in love with the 2RS.

That's right. Not released as frequent, compared to the GT3RS (e.g. 2016, 2019). GT2RS (e.g., 2011, 2018).

Drive safe,

Aha, this is an example of the thought for why people willing to pay these prices. I keep wondering; assumed it's just people that are fine lighting 100k+ on fire?

Go check a 993 gt2 vs 996 gt2. Might cause you to question that theory a little.

I'm sure it's an incredible car and that's an understatement.

My issue with the 997 GT2RS is that it's not a very exciting car to drive, regardless of how many cars they made. In the 997 era, there is no doubt in my opinion that the 4.0 is the car to keep. In the 991 era, I would say the GT2RS and the 911R are the ones to keep. If I was comparing between the 997 GT2RS vs. the 991 GT2RS, I would always take the keys of the 991 GT2RS every single time. Manual transmission is important, but that is just one component of making it a complete driver's car.

Some cars are keepers, dude. I feel that way about my 981 spyder.

Parting with a keeper = huge mistake.

They will, my dealer just sold their only allocation to a good customer for only 150k ADM

Hopefully someone will have a used black exterior rubber dash bordello interior non-WP with FAL and buckets for me at some point down the line. I can’t stomach $100k over.

By far GT2RS, the best Turbo car I've driven.

While most of us hope that PORSCHE will produce more by the thousands, I believe that is simply not going to happen. First, many experts and management staff from Porsche have already stated they have small production capacity, compared also to other car manufacturers. Second, what car manufacturer have their top of the line model produced way more than their common best sellers? The answer is None. No car manufacturer will **ore out their top of the line model by mass producing it. This is where prestige and exclusivity comes into play. The price of 991 GT2RS is at its highest in Porsche Turbo car history. Porsche is making good money on this model without a doubt. While they are making good money, it serves as a model for other less powerful model to be more attractive to the buying public and make it a less expensive. Enter the GT3 and the GT3RS which may be less expensive, but outstanding performers in their right.

The balance of making excellent cars and producing them based on capacity is a marketing genius on the part of Porsche. To those who are able to acquire these GT cars, enjoy it and let's just say we are lucky to have them.

Drive safe,
GT3RS-Fan1

981 Spyder is one of the best kept secrete in the current crops of Porsche cars. I sold mine when my 911R arrived to make room. Fantastic car, better than the GT4 in my opinion and I had that car for 3 months.
