Default PCCB gt3 rotors hairline cracks. Normal?

hi,

i am still annoyed by the squeaking I experience with PCCB.
took it to dealership and they said everything is normal.
i was looking at the rotors and all 4 show hairline cracks.
is this normal?
gt3 has 7300 miles.

thanks,

toni

No worries. Deep scoring is a concern on PCCB. Small rocks in between pads and rotors are a problem.

Her California is very cute.

Have you burnished the PCCBs? If not I’d suggest trying it as when I did a formal ‘burnish’, I had no squeaking with my CCMs in my ‘15 Z06/7 and my current ‘18 AMG GT R. Doing this also makes it much easier to modulate the brakes at low speeds, meaning less ‘grabby’ when slowing down to a complete stop.

I did not and I would not know what is the best way to burnish them.

Picked up my car up at Perimeter Porsche and bedded the brakes the next day at AMPs. No squeaking.

I'm just going to tack on this thread instead of starting a new one... Mine look similar but a bit more micro cracking...

Car was just certified and sold as Porsche CPO.

Normal or an issue?

This is not normal, it appears as though this car has yet to be tracked.

Kidding... it is how they come.
