Most of my postings are after work when kids go to bed and wife is happy with me and tired of talking.

My job seems pretty fake. Make money by posting on Rennlist and helping you guys spec your Porsches! No GT3 in the garage yet though so we have some more hustling to go lol.

Lots of doctors/business owners here.

I'm just a lowly office worker. IT industry (network/telecom/server), manage a large team globally. Wasn't a cheap car for me, but I made it work.

It's a self-selecting sample of respondents, so we probably have some people who didn't respond because they made money in a boring slow cumulative way or had money given to them.

OK - I want to buy you a beer.

Bravo. That's the best thing can parents can leave children.

I 'inherited' a depression era work ethic and nothing else.

I don't read any of the docs and "silicon Valley execs" here pining for the limelight. Just seems like a bunch of hard working folks who enjoy cars.

And last I checked, 4 years of college, 4 years of med school, 4 years of residency to become a doc isn't quite what I call an overnight success.

+ 1. It takes a long time for a physician to get to decent earnings. Plus, the current insurance environment makes it very, very difficult. 99.9% of the US population has no idea how our healthcare system works. I have been on all sides.
